Snipes Insurance Service, Inc. was founded in 1952 by John K. Snipes in the small town of Dunn, North Carolina. Son of the founder, Dal Snipes, assumed ownership of the company in 1979. Snipes Insurance has grown from a small, main street agency to one of the most experienced Property and Casualty insurance brokerage and consulting firms in North Carolina. Dal is currently on the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina, as well as, Past President. He has also served as President of the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce. For over 12 years, Dal has served on the Public Officials and Employee Liability Commission overseeing liability insurance for all state employees. As well as serving on other various boards, Dal is currently serving as Mayor of Dunn. Dal is a key producer of commercial accounts. His area of expertise is large commercial accounts, including manufacturing companies and public entities. |
